Ship deep Sage Intacct integrations in days

Sage Intacct spreads more than 350 objects across 17 modules, from accounts payable to construction, and every company sets up its own entities, dimensions, and chart of accounts. With Ampersand, you can get this integration live for your customers in days.

Build a custom data model to handle complex configurations

No two Sage Intacct companies are the same. Every customer licenses a different mix of modules and sets up their own entities, dimensions, and chart of accounts. AI agents need infrastructure that understands Sage Intacct at the per-tenant level.

3 / 4 customers

3 / 8 customers

  • Customer A: Vendor (standard), Bill (standard), Department (standard)
  • Customer B: Customer (standard), Invoice (standard), Contract (standard)
  • Customer C: Journal Entry (standard), Project (standard), Location (standard)

Enable software and agents to take bi-directional action

With Ampersand, your engineers don’t need to learn Sage Intacct’s REST API, its query service, or how each module names its objects. Simply declare the actions you want your agents to take: read, write, proxy.

Example. Write: “Create a bill when my agent approves a vendor invoice.”

  1. Ampersand refreshes this customer’s OAuth 2.0 token.
  2. Ampersand writes to the fields this customer mapped.
  3. Ampersand creates the bill through the accounts payable API.
  4. Ampersand returns the new bill’s ID to your product.

Ensure your Sage Intacct integration is always available

  • Managed auth

Fully offload Sage Intacct OAuth. Ampersand stores and refreshes tokens for every customer’s company.

  • Incremental reads

Load each customer’s history when they install, then read only the records that changed on the cadence you choose.

  • Schema drift detection

Get notified when fields are created, deleted, or changed in any customer’s Sage Intacct, before the change breaks your integration.

Not all Sage Intacct integrations are created equal

Sage Intacct is the system of record for finance teams that have outgrown entry-level accounting. With Ampersand, your developers can create a best-in-class Sage Intacct integration.

After a full historic backfill, scheduled reads pick up only the records that changed, for most objects.

Questions people ask before they book a demo

  • Which Sage Intacct objects can I read and write?

Every object in the provider guide, more than 350 across 17 modules. That includes vendors, bills, customers, invoices, payments, journal entries, accounts, projects, contracts, items, and timesheets.

  • Can I get real-time updates from Sage Intacct?

Not today. Ampersand backfills each customer’s full history and then runs scheduled reads at the cadence you set. For most objects, each scheduled read picks up only the records that changed.

  • How do my customers connect their Sage Intacct?

You create an application in your Sage Developer account with Ampersand’s callback URI and your Web Services license, then add its client ID and secret key to Ampersand. Your customers then sign in with OAuth, and Ampersand stores and refreshes their tokens.

  • Does Ampersand offer a unified API?

Ampersand doesn’t offer a unified API. It works with Sage Intacct’s own objects and fields as each customer sets them up, which differs from how a unified API works. We also give you the primitives to build your own unified data model.
