Ship deep Attio integrations in days

Attio lets every workspace model its own data, with custom objects, attributes, and lists on top of people, companies, and deals. With Ampersand, you can get this integration live for your customers in days.

Build a custom data model to handle complex configurations

No two Attio workspaces are the same. Every customer has custom objects, custom attributes, and their own lists and pipelines. AI agents need infrastructure that understands Attio at the per-tenant level.

3 / 4 customers

3 / 8 customers

  • Customer A: Person (standard), Deal (standard), Investment (custom)
  • Customer B: Company (standard), List (standard), Task (standard)
  • Customer C: Person (standard), Note (standard), Partner (custom)

Enable software and agents to take bi-directional action

With Ampersand, your engineers don’t need to learn Attio’s records, attributes, and webhook APIs. Simply declare the actions you want your agents to take: read, write, subscribe, proxy.

Example. Subscribe: “Notify me whenever a deal changes.”

  1. Ampersand creates the Attio webhook when your customer installs your integration.
  2. Record update events arrive for the deals object.
  3. Ampersand fetches each updated deal in full through the Records API.
  4. Ampersand applies this customer’s field mappings.
  5. Ampersand sends the deals to your product.

Ensure your Attio integration is always available

  • Managed auth

Fully offload Attio OAuth. Ampersand stores and refreshes every customer’s tokens for the scopes you choose.

  • Managed webhooks

Ampersand creates and manages the Attio webhook when each customer installs your integration, with no setup in the Attio UI.

  • Incremental reads

After a full historic backfill, each sync reads only the records that changed, so your integration moves less data on every run.

Jeson Patel CTO at @11x
“If you have ever integrated with a CRM, you know how complicated that is. It is actually the number one source of issues that we run into with our customer integrations. And Ampersand removes a lot of that complexity. I want my teams to be focused on building the product, and not having to focus on complex CRM integrations.”

Not all Attio integrations are created equal

Attio is the CRM that fast-growing teams shape around their own data. With Ampersand, your developers can create a best-in-class Attio integration.

In-House DIY Build Unified APIs Embedded iPaaS Ampersand
Data schema that works for all customers Lots of switch statements and special casesOnly access standard objects and fieldsBuild customer-specific workflows Flexible model with mappings

The Attio objects your agents can read and write

Ampersand reads, writes, and subscribes to Attio’s people, companies, deals, notes, tasks, and lists, and to every custom object in each customer’s workspace.

Subscribe covers only new workspace members. List events fire when a list itself changes, not when records join or leave it. Users and Workspaces send events once they are turned on in the customer’s workspace.

Questions people ask before they book a demo

  • Which Attio objects can I read and write?

You can read and write people, companies, deals, users, workspaces, notes, tasks, lists, and every custom object, with each customer’s own attributes. Workspace members are read-only.

  • Can I get real-time updates from Attio?

Yes. Subscribe Actions deliver created, updated, and deleted records as they happen, and Ampersand sets up the Attio webhook when your customer installs. Attio does not say which fields changed, so update events fire on any change and Ampersand fetches the full record for you.

  • Which scopes does my Attio app need?

Read access to the objects you sync, plus read-write access to the Webhooks scope if you use Subscribe Actions. Without the Webhooks scope, Attio refuses to create the subscription.

  • Does Ampersand offer a unified API?

Ampersand doesn’t offer a unified API. It works with Attio’s own objects and fields as each customer sets them up, which differs from how a unified API works. We also give you the primitives to build your own unified data model.
